This week I am grateful for aqua fit and this is why...
- I have a whole hour to myself and it's all about me
- I can't fall over
- I am exercising (and laughing) with friends
- No one can see that I am coordinationally challenged
- It does not matter if it is still over 30 degrees at 6.30pm or it is 70% humidity and only the kind of weather fools go walking in!
- It is FUN!!!
What has made you feel grateful this week? I hope it has been a good one.
I am joining in with 52 weeks of grateful on Village Voices
Kate xx
Kate, I so agree. Only fools go walking up here in summer..and there are a few about, but I far prefer to go walking in water!
ReplyDeleteMuch nicer Carol.
DeleteLove it - i am so uncoordinated and fell off the step in a step class more than once - one time leading to an injury that required crutches, bandaging and 10 weeks of recovery (i refuse to try again!)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain Deb :)
Deletelol, I had to laugh at your comments regarding coordination, I know what that feels like. always nice to find something that's good for you that you actually enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping in :)
DeleteI have been hearing about this Kate...it sounds great. Much nicer than the gym and more fun than walking in the heat. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane. We will see if I can keep it up as the water becomes warmer than the outside air temperature!
DeleteOh this sounds like the class for me! What fun! Co-ordination issues here too! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's a great way to feel graceful and coordinated while exercising! Thanks for calling in x
DeleteI love aqua too - I mean, it's been many, many years since I last treaded water whilst doing the high kick, but it was so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute picture too, Kate.
x
Thank you!
DeleteI did it a long time ago too and had forgotten how much fun it was. I have yet to find another form of exercise that I would so readily admit to being fun!
Good for you, you've sold it to me..I have avoided exercise over the summer months, but this actually sounds do-able! Liking your blog too :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that you can't fall over too, so very me!!
ReplyDeleteIt is certainly a major draw card!
DeleteNothing better than aqua classes - no one can see the lumps and bumps as they are under the water as well as the feet doing the wrong thing. But isn't it all about just moving - thats my theory anyway,
ReplyDeleteI think you are right about the moving. Other than the bit between putting your towel down and geting in noone can see. It's a bit like jogging after dark but with no stress to my poor knees etc :)
