A Little Visitor

A blogging friend of mine rescued a handsome gentleman of a bear from her local op shop last month (read his story here) and put out the call for people who would like to have Walt to visit.  I was one of the lucky bloggers whose name went on Walt's list and he's here!!!

Not only is Walt having a fabulous adventure but he is also bringing some of the blogging community together to share this adventure with him.

Rest assured he is being well looked after (he has been made a special bed and is taking it in turns to sleep in Master 9 and Miss 7's room) and stay posted for more of his outback stay!



Winter Love

I love winter. There are so many things that I look forward to.

Okay, I don't love getting out of bed before the sun peeks out but there are so many other things that make winter.

I love....snuggling under the doona with a good book

             a roaring fire

             scarves

             wearing boots

             slow cooking

             winter vegetables

             crocheting and enjoying having my masterpiece over my knee

             holidays in cold locations

             oranges from our tree

A visit to The Palace...outback style! {Wordless Wednesday}

School holidays, children having quality time with the grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins....date night for us!!!!!

It was very cold but the location and the view made it worth a little chilliness :)

P.S. No royalty here but we ate like a King and Queen!
