a little yard bombing at Brighton |
Tickets to Cirque du Soleil were a perfect excuse to head to Adelaide for a few days and this time I was organised enough to find us a place to stay overlooking the Esplanade near Glenelg. Like any beach spot during summer this is not an easy feat and required a lot of forward planning!

The rest of our time was spent watching life go by on the Esplanade, promenading ourselves, catching up with friends and family, eating out, building sand castles and testing out the boogie boards that Santa brought (he must have had some inside information!).

That sounds like a great way to spend the christmas-new year lull. Its years since i've been to glenelg, ive a cousin in adelaid but i remember how lovely it was x
ReplyDeleteLovely Kate, so much fun by the looks of it! Great photos and moments captured. OMG I would love some of those fish hanging on the sculpture at Brighton...how cute are they? We are heading in the same direction very soon; cant wait! Stay cool x
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and very envious of your Ovo adventure. I grew up at Glenelg (mum and dad still live there) and spent my adolescence riding the foreshore beetween Glenelg and Brighton wearing only bathers and a shell necklace.

Very jealous that you got to saw Ovo. I've been to a few Cirque du Soleil shows but last year missed out on Ovo. They never fail to impress me.
