Here & Now ~ April
Loving // The autumn weather that comes with April and school holidays. Crisp mornings and sunny days make it weather for getting out and about. I love that we only have to drive for five or ten minutes in any direction and we are out in the bush where we can sit in the shade of a gumtree and enjoy all nature has to offer in this part of the world
Eating // Sausages in bread in the sandy creek bed
Drinking // I am using my vintage tea cups and pretty coffee mugs. Leaving them in the cupboard is a crime!
Feeling // Relaxed. It's school holidays...time for leisurely adventures, lazy mornings, reading, baking and catching up
Making // I am in the mood for making after a long break from any crafty pursuits...but where to start?!
Thinking // There are some empty spots in my garden. With the break in the unrelenting heat of summer I am thinking about planting herbs and maybe some winter vegetables. This pursuit could be a challenge with tough water restrictions in place
Dreaming // Of our next family adventure. I am not sure where it will be but I have very itchy feet and the need for something to look forward to
What has been happening in your here & now?

Beautiful photos as always Kate. I'm craving a sausage with onions on bread now!
ReplyDeleteI try to use my pretty tea cups and table cloths whenever I can too - otherwise the special occasion they are saved for never ends up coming :-)
Thank-you so much for joining in!

Hi Kate, your blog and photos are gorgeous! Your adventures remind me of the day trips into the bush (and creek swimming!) my family used to do when I was a child - makes me want to go exploring, park under a tree and make a camp fire...possibly with some damper and tea! :-) I hope you find something crafty to get stuck into now that you are feeling creative again! Thank you for visiting my blog, Megan xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Megan! There is nothing like bush adventures is there x
