Wintery Wonders
Winter. Love it or hate it, there is an undeniable beauty about it and all that comes with it.
I love it and it often sees me out and about with my camera or my phone in my pocket capturing the beautiful light or my cosy creations.
I hope that you are keeping warm if it's winter at your house!

Winter is one of my favourites too, although I do prefer the milder days of Autumn (especially as it's been extra cold this winter!) But what's not to love about having the fire burning all day and night, watching golden sunsets and getting to indulge in woolly crafts? Xx
ReplyDeleteI love my fire too but I do agree...Autumn is my favorite time of the year.
DeleteThis is a beautiful collection of winter photos Kate. That wine is looking particularly appealing in this freezing cold, grey afternoon x
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane. Mmm...yes, wine!
DeleteWe haven't had much of a winter here in Queensland, but as I hate the heat winter is my favourite time. I love being able to bury myself under layers of clothing, blankets or mashed potato to get warm!
ReplyDeleteI have the best picture in my head of being buried under mashed potato! :)
DeletePerfect red wine weather! What are you crocheting? I love the colours of the yarn you are using.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have been making Farmer's Market bags. Very easy and quick...good for me as I'm impatient for the end product to take shape!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo's! I'm one of those people who loves winter! Our winters here in Brisbane, Qld are pretty mild though! I love the winter light for photography too! :-)
ReplyDeleteI will get to visit Brisbane one day!
DeleteI do like winter although up here it pretty much doesn't even exist. I do miss the cold but then I recall not liking being cold. But then I don't like being hot as well, maybe more. The light in winter always makes for lovely pictures, maybe it is that the harshness of it is missing.
ReplyDeleteI love the winter light!
DeleteYes I'm a bit of a fan of winter too. I whisked hubster away to a cottage in the mountains for his birthday in July, complete with fireplace; it was just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely winter retreat!
DeleteI love every season almost equally (I have a bit of a soft spot for spring). We are lucky in Sydney to 'sort of' experience a definitely demarcation between seasons and I relish that. Also, I LOVE your mug and completely agree! x
ReplyDeleteIt's my favourite mug at the moment!
DeleteLovely musings and photos.
ReplyDeleteWe just left our wintry home for sunny Cairns.
Happy #WW
Oh how lovely. Enjoy!
